About Us
Who are we?
We’re a tiny, design-driven team based along the beautiful Panorama Route in Mpumalanga, located less than an hour from the Kruger National Park. Surrounded by mountains, forests, and roaming wildlife, we draw daily inspiration from the landscapes that thousands travel here to see.
Every piece we create is hand-designed using vector graphics software, no AI shortcuts, no mass-produced art, and definitely no imported clipart. Vector art allows us to create crisp, scalable designs that print beautifully at any size without being pixelated or blurry. It's the kind of quality you can feel (and see) when it’s on your wall.
Our work is all done in-house by young South African creatives. Every sale helps support local design, keeps creative energy flowing, and contributes to building something sustainable. Our dream is to grow this into a collaborative platform where more local illustrators, photographers, and designers can share their work, get paid fairly, and reach new audiences.
And if you’re wondering where the name "Nexra" comes from... it doesn't officially stand for anything. But unofficially? Let’s just say it's your "Next Art" — we just ran out of budget for the "t." (We’ll fix that once we hit 100 sales.)
We’re powered by design, dedication, iced coffee and a suspicious amount of mountain spring water.
We have attached some photos of the waterfalls and forests that we’re surrounded by at the bottom of the page.
Please don’t be too jealous.
As for where the motorsport inspiration came from? Honestly, we’re not sure either, probably from watching just a little too much Formula One.
Thank you for supporting real South African art. We hope what you hang on your wall means as much to you as it did to us while creating it.
