Frequently Asked Questions
How do I flatten a poster that came in a tube?
Ah, yes, the classic curl. Here’s how to flatten your poster like a pro:
- Carefully remove the poster from the tube.
- Place it print-side down on a clean, flat surface.
- Put a clean sheet of paper (or two) on top to protect it.
- Add some weight — think heavy books, not your cat.
- Leave it for 24–48 hours and voilà — flat as a pancake.
Tip: Don’t use an iron or hairdryer unless you want to turn your art into an abstract experiment. And make sure your weights are clean and dry.
What kind of printing do you use?
We use professional-grade pigment inks that deliver rich colour and excellent longevity. Our posters are printed on high-quality matte paper, designed to produce crisp detail and deep tones. If you're looking for museum-level quality, we can also print on archival fine art paper upon special request. Just let us know — we're all about keeping your walls happy for years to come.
Do the colours look exactly like what I see on my screen?
We try to get as close as humanly (and printerly) possible. But your screen might be lying to you, especially if it thinks grass is neon or shadows are blue. Variations happen because screens are backlit and use RGB colour, while prints use CMYK. We like to think of it as screens are a bit like chameleons—each one shows colours slightly differently. So if your print looks a shade warmer or cooler than your phone screen, that’s just part of the digital charm
Can I return a poster?
Only if it's damaged or the wrong one. Since each poster is printed just for you, we can’t accept returns for things like changing your mind or “my wall wasn’t as cool as I thought.” Full details on our Return Policy.
Where are you based?
Right next to the Kruger National Park — yes, really. Our studio is nestled along the Panorama Route in Mpumalanga. Think creative energy, mountain views, and the occasional monkey running on our roof. Our current print partner is based in the Western Cape.
Do you offer framing?
Not yet, but it’s in the pipeline. We’re currently working on an in-house framing option — likely handcrafted, because we’re stubborn like that.
Do you ship internationally?
Currently no, but we’re looking into it. For now, we're focused on delivering beautifully printed posters to our fellow South Africans. If you're from outside SA and want a print, hit us up — we might be able to make it work.
How long does delivery take?
Printing usually takes 2–4 working days, then shipping adds another 1–3 depending on your location. Full info is over on our Shipping Policy. Also, rural deliveries may take a bit longer (sorry Karoo friends, we still love you).
